It started with New Year's Eve and my quest to find a new appetizer.
I discovered these delightful bacon-wrapped potatoes on Pinterest via marthastewart.com. I made them and they were FABULOUS.
Then, my daughter and I were watching an episode of Chef Michael Smith and witnessed the glory of his bacon-wrapped tenderloin. When my daughter turned and looked at me with her big eyes and said, "Mommy, can we make that?" How could I say no?!
But, this gets even better! I was surfing the web for cheap recipes (because all this bacon can get expensive) and stumbled across this "cheap" recipe... Campfire Pig Greens (which, you guessed it, is cabbage... wrapped in bacon).
Oh, the deliciousness of anything wrapped in bacon... asparagus, scallops, dates, green beans, artichokes, hot dogs, chicken and shrimp. I've been so inspired that I even started a bacon board on Pinterest!
Miss Piggy Beware... I'm on a bacon kick.

I told my husband about this and he said that I need to become your best friend. Bacon wrapped anything is his second love. :-)
